Mastermind vs. Losermind

What is the difference between being a mastermind and a losermind? A lot of it has to do with the people you associate yourself with.

If you want to become a mastermind, you want to hang around with people who will inspire you, make you become a better version of yourself, and inspire you to move forward. If this doesn’t sound like the group you associate with, I hope you will make the commitment to be around different people going forward.

Great groups talk about ideas, goals, and those types of things, while bad groups talk about other people.

I want to be honest with you right now, if you find that the people in your group are always talking about other people, other gurus, other competitors too often, you need to leave that group. Great groups talk about ideas, goals, and those types of things, while bad groups talk about other people. In the groups I associate with, we never gossip. On the rare occasions, we do gossip; we will tell the person we were talking about them, but it rarely happens.

Think about yourself now – are you the type of person that talks about other people in front of a group? If so, you have to check yourself because you are doing your group a disservice. Losers talk about other people all the time, but masters don’t even think about that kind of stuff. A master is focused on growing and becoming better.

I had a conversation with a woman a while ago and I asked her specifically, “In your group, do they talk about other people. Do they talk about me?” and she told me, “Yes, they talk a lot about you.” I told her she needed to leave that group and join another if she is serious about becoming a master.

You will never grow if you spend your time gossiping about others. Remove that type of thinking from your life and focus on positivity, growth, and inspiration. If you do, your life will change for the better. However, if you refuse to make that change, your career will continue to suffer.
